Birthdays come and go but the memories last long and 2011 was such one which gave me more happiness and memories that can be remembered for years. From Childhood we are used to celebrate birthday. We have grown up but still continue cutting cake n giving chocolates to make ones mouth sweet as we did in school. Wishing Frndz on their day, giving greeting cards/surprises such were still experienced by many of us. Even the same was with me too. The day started with a pleasant breeze, it was raining and I felt for sometime that even nature wants to celebrate my day and is happy for me showing it in the form of rain..:P..Then I had bath, went to temple to show my face to God at least on this day & thank him for the life he has given and also to ask to give the strength so as to face the hurdles that come on my way with confidence. From there I went to sweet shop to get some for my neighbours/friends/team and then returned home. Mom was busy preparing special dishes for me with chicken which I like the most. Once she is almost done we had a cake cutting and got the blessings of mom. Earlier we use to have the cake cutting on the evening of birthday and it’s in the morning these days as I have to go to office in second shift. Then I gave the cake/sweets to my aunt n got her blessings too. Then had a delicious lunch n followed the path towards office.
From night wishes started from friends and with an energetic feel I entered the office. There all the team members started wishing me one by one on my way and I happily returned to desk. There I found a biggest surprise. My desk was completely decorated with flowers, greeting, ballons, wat not. It was awesome and I liked it to the core. Sat on my chair and opened my mails. Inbox is filled with plenty of good wishes from many. Thanked everyone and gave sweets to all. The day was going great and in the meantime there was a mail of cake cutting. Oh my goodness, creativity here too. I simply loved it. In between my frndz called me and there I found even more surprises one by one. They kept on giving and I’m just watching, enjoying and with joy there were no words to express my happiness. They have presented me a watch, which I was thinking to buy from long time. It was simple cum stylish followed by a dress again which I liked n of course it has been chosen by me the previous day in a different context but finally that’s to me, which is then followed by purses along with hair pins which are very cute and I liked all of them very much.
In this way I was receiving many surprises one by one and people made me very special with the activities they have planned. After that we had the cake cutting which I enjoyed, with nice facials. Then had group photos and all of us enjoyed our snacks time. I have returned to the desk but was not in a mood to work, my mind was filled with happiness and the day was very special & memorable.
It got me reminded of the bistians birthdays- First year my Roomie b’day with the room completely decorated with flowers n blue hearts, Swathis’ first year b’day with Treasure Hunt, Shwaathi’s final year b’day with Pizza Cutting, Swathi’s third year b’day with Icecream Cutting, Maddy’s Last year b’day with presentations tat i had prepared, Cheri’s Photo Album n Flower Bouquet…Oooooooo..all those days r very memorable. Luved them n Luv u all lots my frndz….:D
My Special thanks to Uma, Siri, Satti, Srini n Subbu for making my day great and very special. I really did not have words to express my joy n happiness looking at the way the things are organized to make my day special. The efforts put forward by them have no boundaries as in my happiness that day. It was very memorable one that I could cherish for years n years. Thank you frndz…Luv u all…JJJ
